Also included was the statement: “The result. The Ku Klux Klan, the organization that saved the South from the anarchy of black rule, but not without the shedding of more blood than at Gettysburg, according to Judge Tourgee of the carpet-baggers.”
Director D.W. Griffith glorified The Clansman with his movie adaptation, portraying Negros as violent and uncivilized. The defeated white Southerners were depicted as being defenseless against the freed Negros who searched out white women for sexually brutality. Whites were terrified until the honorable and upright Ku Klux Klan rode in to save the day. If you were going to make a movie that showed the complete antithesis of reality, The Birth of a Nation would be it. Wilson, in his excitement after the screening, proclaimed, “It is like writing history with lightning, and my only regret is that it is all so terribly true.”
Upon the movie’s release, Dixon stated, “The real purpose of my film was to revolutionize Northern audiences that would transform every man into a Southern partisan for life.” He succeeded. The movie sparked protests and riots across the country. Believing Dixon’s abominable lies, white mobs left the movie theaters in search for innocent Negros they could take revenge on. There was even at least one murder as a result.
The Ku Klux Klan, which had been virtually dead for over 40 years, was reborn because of the movie. The hate group and muscle of the Southern Democrats grew from basically nothing to 6 million members within 10 years. Thank you, President Wilson, for your Progressive Democrat mindset. It’s alive and well today and marching through the streets of Ferguson, Missouri. (see Just The Facts, Ma'am)
The same pathetic, dangerous, and deadly racial deception is happening today and is being perpetrated once again by a Progressive Democrat President. After 3 autopsies and an extensive investigation by the DOJ under the direction of Eric Holder, Officer Darren Wilson was exonerated of any wrongdoing in the shooting of Michael Brown. He was completely justified in using deadly force for self-defense. It was also confirmed without a doubt that Michael Brown did not hold up his hands and he did not say, “Don’t shoot.” However, facts don’t matter to those who claim to embrace science, but deny evidence. Hundreds of African-Americans are protesting in Ferguson, still claiming that Michael was an innocent black man shot unnecessarily by a white officer while surrendering. On March 11th, two officers were shot outside the Ferguson Police Department in what is believed to be a targeted ambush. Both escaped with their lives, one despite being shot in the face. Many of the protesters don’t care about the officers. They don’t want to hear the truth, believing the racial charges the DOJ has been making for months. It’s no different from the propaganda of Dixon’s, The Clansman. Not much has changed in 100 years and it’s just as wrong now as it was then.
As Dixon tried to rewrite the Southern post-Civil War history, MSNBC/Al Sharpton, George Soros, SEIU, the New Black Panthers and the Obama Administration are purposely lying to unsuspecting supporters, manipulating them into unjustified violence and racism. It is unfortunate our administration sees America the way Wilson did 100 years ago. If they can’t control the black man with slavery they will simply use them as pawns, exploiting them into enslaving everyone under the Progressive/Liberal chains of tyranny.
Liberty, since the invention of the motion picture, moviemakers used the medium to distort and rewrite history. The movies JFK, Noah, and Exodus: Gods and Kings are examples of fictional accounts that are told so dramatically that they become the accepted truth. An Inconvenient Truth (see The Science Is Settled, Part II), Fahrenheit 9/11, and Gasland are examples of movies claiming to be fact filled documentaries when, in fact, they are filled with proven distortions. However, these distortions are repeated often enough that many people buy into the lie.
Do not be manipulated and deceived by false narratives. Do your own homework. Search out the real truth. As Thomas Jefferson said, “Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear.” (see Question With Boldness)
So, let’s celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the showing of The Birth of a Nation at the White House by rejecting the racism put forth by Woodrow Wilson and the Democratic Party and its thugs the KKK. We also reject the racism put forth in Ferguson by the same old Democratic Party and it’s thugs from SEIU, the New Black Panthers, and funded to the tune of $33 million dollars by Fabian Socialist George Soros. Racism is alive and well in the United States and like a hundred years ago it’s fed by the Progressive Democratic Party.

Dear Liberty,
When Democrat Woodrow Wilson walked into the White House in March of 1913, his supporters believed the South was going to rise again. So did he. The first Southern President to be elected since 1848, Wilson was determined to return the country to pre-Civil War days of Southern Glory. With the loss of the Civil War, slave states lost most of their influence and power, as they were no longer able to count slaves for House representation without actually representing Negros. (see The New Trinity) For Wilson and the Democrats, it was time to put things right again.
Even though states where given the freedom to determine their own segregation laws, the federal government had made amazing strides during the Reconstruction Era as the Republicans fought for racial equality. (see America's Voting Record and Civil Rights...And Wrongs) Negros worked side by side with White counterparts, receiving the same privileges, advancements, and titles. To gain Negro support, Wilson promised more equality and rights, hiding his true motives from the public. In actuality, his goal was to spread the Southern Jim Crow laws to the entire country.
Once in office, Wilson set the model for the progressive movement to this day, immediately appointing officials who destroyed the advancements made by the Negros and Republicans since the end of the war. Federal workplaces, restrooms, and cafeterias were again segregated in the offices of the Postmaster General, Treasury and Navy. A glass ceiling was put in place to kept high-level public positions well out of reach of Negros, unlike with previous Republican administrations. The highly intellectual Wilson professed that segregation reduced friction between the races, and he “sincerely believe(d) it to be in their interest”. State governmental offices in the South freely banished Negro workers altogether with the blessing of the White House.
Two years into his presidency, Wilson had the honor of hosting the first motion picture screening at the White House on March 21, 1915. His movie of choice was The Birth of a Nation, an adaptation of The Clansman, a book written by former classmate, friend, and political supporter Thomas Dixon. As a silent movie, dialog and other statements were written on the screen for viewers to read. It is no surprise Wilson chose this movie as it included quotes from his own book, History of the American People:
“...Adventurers swarmed out of the North, as much the enemies of the one race as of the other, to cozen, beguile, and use the negroes...In the villages the negroes were the office holders, men who knew none of the use of authority, except its insolences.”
“The white men were roused by a mere instinct of self-preservation...until at last there had sprung into existence a great Ku Klux Klan, a veritable empire of the South, to protect the Southern country.”
