Others jumped into the fray, mocking Christians and God while arguing the dangers in the world are getting worse. Can't any of them see the correlation between the world’s arrogant denial of God, removing Him from every aspect of our lives, and the increase in occurrences such as this latest tragedy? Obama admits he defines Christians by the Christian Crusaders. As I argued in A Crusade For The Truth, these campaigns began as a response to the over 400 years of Muslim invasions, slaughters and overthrows of Christian cities and territories that started with Mohammad's direction and blessing. Obama sees Christianity as a religion of hate while claiming that he is one. Then again, how could he feel any other way after spending 20 years in a church led by Rev. Jeremiah Wright?
While over 80% of the nation's citizens consider themselves Christian, even though a good portion of them do not attend church or belong to a particular denomination, it is the atheists and the Muslims that this administration supports. Christian bakers, florists, and wedding chapels are targeted and run out of business for not wanting to participate in same-sex marriages. (see We Reserve The Right To Refuse Service) Any mention of God in a school could lead to grounds for expulsion, suspension, or termination. The Attorney General just threatened to prosecute anyone who spoke out against Islam because of this recent attack. A New York Daily News columnist followed up the insulting "God isn't fixing this" story by tweeting, “That Jew got what he deserved,” referring to a Christian/Messianic Jew killed by the Islamic extremists, simply because he supported the NRA. The Left and this administration will criticize Christians wanting to live their faith, calling them bigots and Islamophobes, while defending Muslims, atheists, and their own intolerance every single time.
During his 2008 campaign, Obama mocked middle-America Christians, stating, "They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion." He later apologized for his wording, but not for his opinion. We have had presidents before who may not have been the most faithful Christians, but we have never had one so hostile to the predominate faith in this country while pandering to those who have proven to be at war with us time and time again.
During this administration, hostility towards God and Christianity has exploded like never before. Fifty years ago boys carried guns to school and there was never a concern for mass murders. Guns hung freely and unlocked in many homes, yet the owners were not compelled to use them because of a disagreement with a neighbor. Why? Because of the Bible they had open on the table. The Word of God curbed our morality, instilling in us the respect for life. Sermons on Christ's love, forgiveness, and personal responsibility were heard every week in church and often from the mouths of our leaders.
Even if students were not getting it at home, they were at least getting the Ten Commandments at school. Too many have stood by while a small minority took that away. Teachers used to have parental and school support to reprimand those behaving badly. Now kids are coddled and pandered to, allowing them to continue their aggressive behavior well into adulthood, developing into a generation with no abilities to confront the real world.
Earlier this year, Dylann Roof attended a Bible study at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston. (see Their Deaths Were Not In Vain) After sitting with them for an hour, he excused himself to retrieve his firearms. He reentered the church and began shooting, killing nine parishioners. After he was in police custody, he confessed he "almost didn't go through with it because everyone was so nice to him." After only one hour, the love of those Christians was strong enough to make Roof seriously reconsider what he was about to do. If Roof would have had a daily influence of God's love, image how different his life would have turned out. Image how many other lost souls could be found if Christians and God were not so vilified by Democrats, media, and Hollywood.
The gun is a tool. If it had control of itself then guns would be put on trial for murder instead of people. America has gone to sleep and turned from God. The Old Testament is full of accounts of the Jews turning from the LORD, holding fast to other gods and idols, until the time comes that God allows them to experience life without Him. When Israel’s kings turned from God, the nation suffered. America and the world have followed the false idols of Israel and have failed to acknowledge the God that made all men equal.
We kicked God out of schools, out of courthouses, out of public buildings and now out of the White House. The further we get from Him the more evil we will reap. We are seeing that play out right now before our very eyes. Until we as a people wake up and accept the truth, the darker our world is going to get.
Liberty, unlike what you are being told by today’s Progressives, it’s not what's in your hand that kills, it's what's in your heart.

Dear Liberty,
When your grandparents were growing up, it was not uncommon for school children to take their guns to school. Gun racks hung in the back truck window with a shotgun at the ready. Homes, especially in rural areas, had a gun hanging over the mantle, set for easy access, a tradition from frontier days. Many students belonged to gun clubs, spending their after school hours practicing and perfecting their shots as well as learning gun safety.
Today, schools are not only “gun-free” zones, children are suspended for simply making the shape of a gun out of their fingers. They are expelled for playing cops and robbers in the playground. Yet with all these precautions, school and other "gun-free" zone shootings appear to be on the rise. So what's different between now and the days when guns were as common as a backpack or lunchbox for a student?
The answer is simple, Liberty. As the Liberal, politically correct Left demanded guns be removed from schools, they were simply following God out the door as well. Liberals demand students be punished for even the thought of a gun, yet file lawsuits against any teacher who might utter the words, “Thou Shall Not Kill.” Children are indoctrinated into accepting the gun as evil without any acknowledgement to what is in their heart.
On December 2, two suspects entered a building in San Bernardino, California, and opened fired on a room full of people enjoying a Christmas party. To the media and Liberal dismay, the killers turned out to be a husband and wife ISIS supporting Muslim couple.
Instead of addressing the reality of this massacre, Liberal Progressives, as they always do, used the opportunity to further their agenda regardless of facts. Hillary Clinton, Mark O'Malley and others began calling for stricter gun laws before the bodies were even cold. Accusations against the NRA were leveled while the police were still searching for the suspects. Obama weighed in lecturing America about our need for even more restrictions on citizens’ access to guns while insisting this had nothing to do with Islam. (see Gun Control: The First Steps Of Tyranny) Once again the radical ideology of hate from the extremist Muslims was completely ignored and Americans were the ones demonized.
In the die-hard Liberal mind, it is the gun that kills. If guns were gone, there would be no more killing. Overriding truth with propaganda, they have no comprehension that pipe bombs at the murder site and the suspects' home completely expose the inaccuracy of their ideology.
Gun control activists seem to be ignorant that evil people can kill with knives, spears, arrows, cannons, ropes, and fire. Eight terrorists, consisting of both men and women, carried out a massacre in Kunming, China, in 2014 with just knives, killing 33 and injuring 140. There are several other instances of mass murder in China, Japan, South Korea and Europe involving knives where the strictest gun control laws exist. The honest truth is that knives are much more easily accessible than guns, especially in an impulsive situation. Fertilizer and fuel created a simple explosive in Oklahoma City in 1995, resulting in 168 deaths. The Boston Marathon bombing in 2013 involved two improvised pressure cooker explosives. Nineteen Islamic terrorists carried out the worst foreign attack on American soil on September 11, 2001, with nothing more than box cutters and planes. (see Never Forget) Killers don't squabble over their weapon of choice. Their goal is death.
The New York Daily News’ cover the day after the San Bernardino massacre was “God isn't fixing this.” They ridiculed Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Paul Ryan and Lindsey Graham for offering their prayers, accusing these politicians of pandering to a right-wing extreme gun policy. While Christian prayers are jeered, Democrats are cheered when they hit their knees in mosques. "Democratic lawmakers are planning to attend prayer services at a Washington-area mosque (12/4/15) that has been accused of acting as a front for Hamas and that served as the home of terrorist spiritual leader Anwar al-Awlaki, who reportedly mentored two of the 9/11 hijackers." (The Washington Free Beacon) The New York Times praised their compassion and understanding.
